Maria takes the plunge for a good cause!
Not to be outdone by intrepid colleagues from other departments our IT team is about to show they are just as up for an adventure as anyone else at Farleys; or at least one of them is!
Our Maria Stutt has volunteered to sky dive as a fund raising event for a cause very special to her.
The Anaphylaxis Campaign, http://www.anaphylaxis.org.uk/, is a charity which researches anaphylactic shock. The reason for the fundraising event is that Maria's good friend Domenico Sanna's little sister Francesca died last year after suffering a severe allergic reaction.
Maria says: "There are about 10 of us skydiving in a tandem jump each with an instructor in Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria. We each need to raise £200 to do the jump and the event organisation contributes up to 50% of that money to our charity, plus any extra that we each make."
Maria's jump is on May 17th and so there is time for you all to email your financial pledge as support for Maria and this worthwhile charity. Please contact Maria on maria.stutt@farleys.com.
